I make each muff as a tribute to my mom, who had Alzheimer’s; I understand the challenges. Each muff is different, becoming a unique possession, and is made with many different quality embellishments to occupy, entertain, and spark possible memories of their happier early days.
STURDY CONSTRUCTION:
This Alzheimer's Sensory Muff is handmade, and lined with a second layer of knitting, made stitch by stitch. My muffs are not made with a knitting machine; I am “the machine,” making each muff with love. All the embellishments are securely attached.
